concert+venue photography

I played many shows back in the day as a drummer for the experimental post rock band "The Autumn Project", many tours, late nights and long drives. While I haven't played music live for many years I do still love a good show and I love capturing it with my camera even more. Large bands, small indie bands, speakers and orchestras capturing people doing what they love is always an amazing experience. For musicians and venues it is a invaluable to have high quality images for press, promotion, reviews, posters, websites and social media feeds. Having the past experiences I have as a touring musician definitely gives me an advantage and understanding of my surroundings and my place as a photographer within the ecosystem of live music.
